Chicago Ridge Public Library is a single-story library and fully accessible to those utilizing mobility devices. Each of our public restrooms has one accessible stall with handrails.
The library features a wide range of audiobooks for visually impaired patrons. We are also a participant in the Illinois State Library Talking Book and Braille serivce (TBBS). For more information about TBBS, click here, or contact Alicia Jackson, Adult Services Manager.
The Chicago Ridge Public Library’s Homebound Library Service provides delivery and pick up of library items to patrons who are physically unable to come to the library. This service is available to Chicago Ridge residents unable to come to the library due to mobility, health or disability barriers. We will pick up and deliver items every other week.
