Opioid overdoses are a very serious problem. In 2020 alone, in suburban Cook County, there were 487 opioid-involved overdose deaths.
Please join the University of Illinois Extension that has partnered with the Cook County Department of Public Health to provide a training on how to recognize the symptoms of an opioid overdose and administer life-saving naloxone. You will also have the opportunity to receive free Narcan at the end of the training.
