The Chicago Ridge Public Library houses a Local History Room located in the Eugene L. Siegel Municipal Complex at 10455 S. Ridgeland Ave. Visits can be made to the history room and are by appointment only. Please contact Adult Services at 708-423-7753. In 2006, the library received a grant from the Illinois State Library to digitize material documenting the history of Chicago Ridge. The resulting online project includes photographs, newspapers, interviews, narratives, and original artwork. Click here to view the collection!
